“We had a fantastic time and made some fond memories ALOHA and MAHALO”.

Aloha Anthony. Let me begin by telling you the golf portion of our Hawaii golf cruise was excellent, we enjoyed and appreciated the opportunity to play the championship courses we’ve seen watching televised golf tournaments over the years.

Although the Plantation Course at Kapalua was very tough, we thoroughly welcomed the challenge.

All your GolfAhoy drivers were on time and courteous and provided us with local information in the area.

The NCL ship Pride of America was fine.

I was pleasantly surprised but also very glad that we went ahead and entered an auction bid at the last minute before embarkation for an upgrade to a Suite and our bid was successful.

We were assigned a Suite Concierge whose name was Golshun Cummings. Golshun was a true professional and well appreciated. I think that maybe had you emphasized the advantages of the Suite’s larger square footage and a big balcony that came with a private Butler, a dedicated Suite guest dining room, privileged priority embarkation and disembarkation especially on golf ashore days, other VIP Suite amenities, and so forth, we would have more strongly considered going that route in the first place. I know you recommended a Penthouse Suite over a Balcony cabin in the beginning, and I should have taken your advice.

One major complaint was the pre-cruise Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort hotel at Waikiki. It was too big and too commercial and way too many people in one place for us plus the room itself was rather “tired” to pick a description. The check-in procedure was abominable. Had we not already been Hilton Honors members it would have been far worse. At least we were able to use the Hilton Honors expedited check-in. You aren’t responsible for that, but people should know ahead of time what the difficulties are there, and either be prepared or stay at another facility – or join Hilton Honors before arrival for a speedier check-in.

Charley’s cab service from the Honolulu airport to the Hilton was also timely and your recommendation was valuable. Charley’s cabs are the only cabs allowed to pull up at the front door of the Hilton, so we went from the cab straight to the waiting bellman and into the Reception hall.

Finally thank you to Lori and yourself for setting everything up and following through with everything in your brochure and detailed day-by-day trip itinerary. We had a fantastic time and made some fond memories. ALOHA and MAHALO.

Jerry & Joan A. Metairie, LA.
